Citrus-Colored Celebration For Blue Oak Academy

While the team at Marilyn Ambra Party Consultants adores planning weddings and seeing couples say their “I do’s,” it is always such a treat to dream up and design other types of events to shake things up and change the pace! It is especially fun when the event is to raise funds for a school’s arts program.  We got to do exactly this when planning the Blue Oak Academy Fundraiser Auction and celebration. Inspired by a California Dreamin’ 70’s vibe, we designed a fresh and bold citrus-colored palette to showcase the diversity of the era. We had the privilege of producing a vibrant event alongside a top-notch team of vendors and we are so excited to share it with you! At the CIA at Copia, Guests of all ages trickled into the vibrant and celebratory space we created, bubbling with excitement for what the evening would hold. An incredible meal by Smoke Open Fire, customized cocktails by Bar Hop Napa, and an exciting auction of legendary finds awaited them just through the doors. Not only was the Blue Oak Academy auction jam-packed with an alluring agenda, the transformed space guests were about to step into was one that was truly memorable.

With natural light pouring in every direction through the expansive windows of the contemporary space, we had a gorgeous set-up at The CIA at Copia. The hip 70’s lounge aesthetic was powered in part by Bright Event Rentals.  Designer 8 provided sleek seats and crisp furniture which helped accentuate the modern mood that set the citrus-colored celebration. In the dining spaces, vibrant orange, purple, and white blooms from Plan Decor dotted chic geometrically designed linen table tops and long green centerpieces extended high up to the ceiling. Gorgeous lime linens by La Tavola Linens draped over tables large and small and were displayed in a variety of patterns that were perfect for the elegant decor of dinner as well as the eye-catching appeal of the silent auction tables!

While guests dined and drank and the auction rolled on, DJ Dave Tutton alongside Napa Valley Media kept the spirits high and music loud! From beginning to end, we loved planning and being a part of such a special day. Keep scrolling to see the stunning photos by Lori Paladino Photography!
